Jefferson County New York Will Abstracts 1830 – 1850: This 184 page book (5 ½ inches by 8 ½ inches) of abstracts, and index, was published by volunteers of the Jefferson County New York Genealogical Society. The will abstract project began in 2001 and contains abstracts of all wills that were recorded in Jefferson County Wills, Volume A through E. These five volumes contain the earliest wills recorded in Jefferson County and are the only volumes identified by letter, rather than number. The first of the wills in Will Book A was probated on 27 August 1830. The last of the wills in Book E was probated in November 1850. The cost of the book is $15.00 plus $5.00 postage (envelope and book rate shipment). Volume 1  Pedigrees, Volume One, December 2001: This booklet consists of pedigrees charts submitted by members and was published by the Jefferson County New York Genealogical Society. Volume One is arranged alphabetically by submitter, with an every-name surname index. There are 202 pedigree charts. Some are four and five generation charts whereas some are partial pedigrees.
